Kamu AfterSchool Club
Children have a natural curiosity and motivation to learn and explore. At Kamu Afterschool Club, children get the possibilities to fulfil themselves, learn enormously new things and have fun with friends. Kamu Afterschool Club is open every school day from 12 to 17 o’clock.
We offer children a safe environment, skilled adults and pedagogically designed fun activities, where nature and environmental education is emphasized, meanwhile children's wishes are also well taken into account. In addition to nature and environmental education, food and music education are also provided under the guidance of experts.
The adults at Kamu Afternoon Club are safe, reliable and professional. With them, children always have the opportunity to take initiative, to be heard and understood, and to explore new things. Adults work for children’s learning and overall well-being.
Kamu Afterschool Club is located in Toukola, Helsinki. Its close-to-nature location offers a great opportunity for outdoor activities, hiking, urban farming and encourage children to build a positive relationship with nature through play and exploration.
Kamu Afterschool Club is open on school days during 12--17, family can also choose the 12--16 option. The afternoon club fee is 100e/month if the child participates until 16:00 and 120e/month if until 17:00. The fee includes an afternoon snack.
How to apply for Kamu Afterschool Club 2023-2024
The application period for 2023—2024 is from 6th March to 1st May 2023.
