We are extremely happy with Kamu daycare. The facilities are functional and safe. The child likes to stay in the daycare every day and has found many favourite playmates. In a small daycare, the child knows all the adults, including the manager and the owner, and vice versa, all the adults know all the children.
If substitutes are needed, Kamu takes primarily the ones already familiar with the children. An environmental educator also works with the children in the daycare, and the children can literally get their hands dirty into the soil while doing worm composting, planting plants or collecting rubbish. For us, all these have clearly developed the urban child’s relationship with nature.
The group also invests in strength pedagogy and emotional education. I often wonder how well a child has adopted good manners from the daycare and, for example, how he or she thinks about whether an activity is friendly or not.
I myself also like the fact that social skills are practiced in their own group by playing with children in different line-ups and games. The daycare provides a lot of information about the child's daily life in daily discussion and the weekly newsletter. Individual needs are well taken into account.

Kamu’s impact on our family’s daily lives is significant.
Our sensitive firstborn started going to Kamu at a bit under 3 years and since then, we feel happy and relieved about our choice. She feels good at Kamu and it also shows at home.
Our younger one started at Kamu already at age of 1.5 years old because of the excellent experience gained from our firstborn. She adapted into Kamu astonishingly quickly and there was no need to worry even for a second if she would get the attention she needs.
Children spend a large part of their day in the daycare, the daycare thus has a really big impact on the children. Choosing a daycare is one of the most important decisions in our children’s life. We think that there is no better investment than providing the child a safe, competent, and warm place when we parents are at work and study. The importance of this is highlighted while I follow the news of early childhood education resource scarcity and large group sizes. We have had no need to worry about this. Kamu has small groups and facilitated with safe adults and right resources.
Kamu is a small daycare and nurses/teachers work with heart and amazing professional competencies. Children (also us parents) are greeted every day warmly as him-/herself. At Kamu, adults really have time for a child, and they are genuinely interested in what they do. Kamu can be happily called KamuHOME.
During various activities and games, children learn quite astonishingly fast, and I feel that a small daycare like KamuHome with professional staffs enables children the best possible starting point to their future. Nature education, the use of English language, emotional education and cultural education, which are important to our family, are part of children’s daily lives at Kamu. And it is great to see how our own children develop and realize new things every day 😊

We have been able to send Hilma to Kamu with a sound and safe feeling every day. On each pick-up, Kamu’s adults have had time to tell how Hilma’s day has gone by. While talking to Kamu’s adults, it feels that they really care and enjoy their work, which makes me, a tired mother, feels good too after talking to them.
Most importantly, Hilma has got abundant hugs and safety, familiar adults. No need to stress about staff adequacy or constant change, unlike many other daycares.
In addition, at Kamu, you can receive the very-much-talked-about quality early child education, and genuinely, not just on paper. The activities have been planned and the plans are also being implemented, for example, in the form of excursions and emotional skills practice.
Especially in such a challenging time, when early childhood education is in crisis, I am often extremely grateful that we have found such a good daycare for Hilma. I never would have though that a good daycare could have such a positive impact on our entire family.

Nea started at Kamuhome in the beginning of April. For both mother and daughter, a new daily routine has been challenging. The staffs at Kamuhome have made us feel really welcomed and made it easy to adjust. The atmosphere is warm, inspiring and considers each child's own needs. Absolutely lovely adults, everyone wants the best of a child. I can warmly recommend this daycare. Definitely the best solution for us and I know I don’t have to worry about how Nea gets by there. She is taken care very well❤️

We have been extremely pleased with Kamu. Our son started his daycare journey in Kamu and for the first time parents this is also our first contact with daycare life. The good spirit relieved us during our orientation visit and we knew our son would definitely enjoy there. But still, we have been surprised at how well he has adapted to Kamu. As parents, it has been a huge relief to see how happy he is every morning when we leave him to Kamu’s care. We can do our day work without thinking or worrying about how the daycare is doing. We are always looking forward to the weekly messages from Kamu with enthusiasm. Furthermore, it is wonderful that activities are told in the form of weekly newsletter.
The staffs always have time to tell you about the day and what things have been practiced on that day. We consider it very important that the staff change remains low and that it is excellently implemented in Kamu. Every day our son is met by familiar and safe adults.
We especially like the fact that all their doings have a pedagogical purpose. Our son has learned a lot of new things and skills since starting in Kamu.

Our family has been very pleased with Kamu. Rosa stays there every morning happy and safe, and we as parents feel good knowing that she has high quality education, professional and lovely teachers, and her friends there. We have been happy that the number of children per group is not very high, so every child gets a lot of attention and hugs. All teachers are committed to their work and Kamu. They know all children, and vice versa, even though they would not be in their own group. We feel that the children are genuinely loved and cared for in Kamu. Every time we pick Rosa home, we get a small report on how her day has been and what they have done. Almost every day there is something related to nature, and the children seem to enjoy it a lot. On Fridays we get a longer report of what has happened during the week and what is planned for the coming week, and a lot of cute photos and videos of the week in the parents’ mobile app. We also get small messages with greetings and photos of Rosa throughout the week, it makes us parents smile in the middle of the workday. We recommend Kamu with all our hearts and would like to send huge thanks to the friendly and professional staff!
